Our first reunion was held at Dreghorn Barracks in 2006 with over 120 people. What a reunion it was. With many of us not seeing one another for over 20 years once our fathers had left the regiment.
Our second reunion was held at The Royal British Hotel in Edinburgh in 2008 with yet again a great turn out with more different face to be seen.
Our third reunion was held at again at Dreghorn Barracks in 2009 with many more new faces. The word about the BRATZ have been getting around.
I have not yet set a date for our forth reunion but as soon as I do the dates will be posted.
I do organises nights out here in Edinburgh for us bratz to meet up for a drink and dance I will keep you posted. Our last night out was in Feb 2011 at Mad Dogs.
A REUNION for the children of Royal Scots soldiers is set to be held at Dreghorn Barracks this summer.
Organiser Tracey Smith, 34, believes it will be the first time such an event has ever been held and comes as the historic regiment is incorporated into the new Royal Regiment of Scotland.
She said: "My father, John Smith, was in the Army and I made a lot of friends in the different places in this country and overseas where he was based. As an adult there is never a day goes by I don't think about the other children and what they are doing today. The only time people ever seem to bump into others these days is at funerals.
